Learn the craft, connect with nature, leave with something beautiful
Look, I'll be honest - these aren't your typical 'follow along perfectly' kind of classes. We get messy, we laugh when stems break, and yeah, sometimes the arrangement turns out a little wonky. But that's the whole point! You'll actually learn the techniques we use daily in the shop, work with seasonal blooms (not sad grocery store carnations), and walk out with skills you can actually use. Plus, you get to take home whatever you create, which is pretty sweet.
6:30 PM - 9:00 PM
Get ahead of the holiday chaos and make yourself a proper wreath. We'll work with fresh evergreens, dried elements, and maybe some berries if they're nice that week. Bring wine if you want - it's Friday night after all.
2:00 PM - 4:30 PM
Never touched floral tape? Can't tell a rose from a ranunculus? Perfect. This one's for you. We'll cover the absolute fundamentals - how to prep stems, basic spiral technique, and actually keeping things alive for more than two days.
6:00 PM - 8:30 PM
Make something stunning for your table that'll actually survive till December. We're talking candles, fresh florals, and that cozy vibe everyone wants but doesn't know how to create. This one fills up fast every year.
7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Dried flowers have gotten trendy again, but let's be real - most people make 'em look like dusty grandmother vibes. Come learn how to work with preserved materials in a way that's actually modern and beautiful. Lasts for months too.
1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
This is our signature style and honestly my favorite class to teach. You'll learn the minimalist, nature-forward approach that makes Nordic florals so distinctive. Less is more, but make it interesting. Slightly more advanced level.
Want a class just for your crew? We do private sessions for birthdays, bachelorette parties, corporate team building - whatever. Minimum 6 people, maximum fun.

Lead Florist & Workshop Coordinator
Hey there! I'm the one you'll see at most of these workshops, usually covered in eucalyptus bits and probably drinking cold coffee. I've been doing florals for about 12 years now - started in Oslo, moved here to Vancouver five years ago, and honestly can't imagine doing anything else.
I'm not gonna bore you with a million credentials, but I did train at the Norwegian Floral Art School and I've taught workshops everywhere from tiny studios to big corporate gigs. What I really love though? Watching someone who thinks they're "not creative" suddenly realize they totally are. That moment when it clicks - that's why I do this.
My teaching style is pretty laid back. I'll show you the proper techniques (because yeah, there are rules), but I'm not gonna hover or make you feel bad if your arrangement looks different than mine. Actually, the best pieces usually come from people who go a bit off-script.
Fresh flowers, tools, containers - we've got everything. Just bring yourself.
Coffee, tea, water, and usually some snacks. Sometimes wine for evening classes.
Whatever you make is yours to keep. We'll wrap it up nice for the trip home.
